Boris Bacanurschi, DMD

Dr. Boris Bacanurschi, born in Moldova, completed four years with honors at Odessa Medical University, Dental School in Ukraine. In 1999, he and his parents moved to Toronto, Canada, where he completed two years at the University of Toronto Life Sciences Program. He relocated to Boston with his wife and two children in 2002 to start the DMD program at Tufts University School of Dental Medicine. At Tufts, Dr. Bacanurschi was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon National Dental Honor Society, participated in Honors Programs in Esthetic and Implant Dentistry, and served as a teaching assistant.

Graduating Magna Cum Laude from Tufts in 2006, Dr. Bacanurschi is now a Clinical Assistant Professor in Prosthodontics and Operative Dentistry at Tufts. He is the Chairman of the North Metropolitan Dental District and a member of several professional organizations, including OKU, ADA, MDS, and ADEA. In 2012, he was elected a Fellow of the International College of Dentists and graduated from the Engel Institute of Dental Implant Training. He also completed the Tufts Tisch Faculty Fellowship program in 2016.

Dr. Bacanurschi continually enhances his expertise through teaching, research, and continuing education in Esthetics, Occlusion, Periodontology, Implantology, and Cosmetic Dentistry. He enjoys spending his free time playing tennis, biking, skiing, and traveling. He also volunteers on dental mission trips to Haiti and the Dominican Republic.

Dr. Francesca Bonino

PERIODONTIST
Dr. Francesca Bonino is a US-board certified periodontist. A promoter of healthy lifestyle choices, she is committed to help her patients maintain their beautiful and healthy smile.
She earned her DMD degree from Boston University Henry M. Goldman School of Dental Medicine in Boston, and her certificate in periodontology with a master of science from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine (TUSDM). She also holds a dental degree from University of Turin, Turin, Italy.
She has been practicing periodontics and implant dentistry in the Greater Boston Area for 12 years, while teaching in the Department of Periodontology at TUSDM as an Associate Professor. She has published research in the fields of implant disease, patient-reported outcomes and academic dentistry.
In her free time, she enjoys running, surfing, and skiing. She lives with her family and the cat Jasmine.
Argiro Magoufis

DENTAL HYGIENIST
Hi, I'm Argiro, but most people call me Argy. I've been dedicated to providing top-notch dental care as a hygienist at Woburn Street Dental for the past 18 years. I love visiting Greece whenever I can. When I'm not ensuring bright smiles, I'm usually spending quality time with my husband and our two wonderful children having fun and making memories or driving between dance and soccer.

In my free time, I love spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy weekends in Bridgton Maine, being a gym rat, and I have a huge passion for all animals.
